Nordhavn 96' New Journey Yacht
an interior view with midcentury modern furniture and northern wide wood planks on the floor
The owners of the Nordhavn 96' New Journey envisioned a yacht with relaxed and inviting living spaces where they could host their many friends that would be accompanying them around the world. To help their vision come to life, they hired Scott Cole, president of Ardeo Design, whose designs they had come to appreciate after viewing another one of his Nordhavn 96' projects, Lacey Kay. Cole's experience and intentional designs helped them achieve the feeling of luxurious comfort that they were seeking.

Shore engineered wide plank from the Iconic collection of North American white oak creates a canvas of refined luxury in the boats interior. From the flooring to the stair treads and custom risers, Shore's inviting grey tone and subtle natural feel contrasts beautifully with the crystal blue water just beyond the window. The cascading grains of the flooring mimic the rise and fall of the waves the Nordhavn 96' New Journey traverses, reflecting the overall aesthetics of the vessel in every plank.
