A NOD TO THE PAST
Stanly Ranch Resorts comprises a collection of modern interpretive Napa Valley agricultural barn and accessory structures. Constructed materials and design details woven within the resort interiors pay homage to Napa’s historic provenance as an early tannery through the intentional use of leathers.
Wine industry’s cooperage character is reflected in the light hues and pale tones of French oak wide planks lining the walls and ceiling of the cottage guest rooms, creating a rich warmth. Nature’s soft grey & beige stone fireplaces accented by polished gun-metal details, afford a calm background to allow guests to lean into wine country in a sophisticated, yet casual contemporary palette.
Throughout the resort, interiors seamlessly blend to the exterior; vineyards, firepits, daybeds, pavilions, in California style; carrying indoor living to these outdoor rooms. Spa-like bathrooms offer the guest a choice of indoor shower, soaking tub, or an outdoor shower court for dawn, or moonlight-hour relaxation.
The strong gable forms of the cottage structures echo the prominent and repeated Event Barn shapes across the hills and winding landscaped pathways that define this village of rooms, while respecting the infinity Sculpture surrounded by vine-rows of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
